Beast of the Month: February '18

February's Beast of the Month is......... Arthur Hirschberg!!!! He has been a Beast for well over 2 years and is one of the hardest working and dedicated individuals I have had the pleasure of working with.

So what makes him the BOM??? Well... while he has movements he struggles with, he doesn't fear nor hate any of them. Rather he recognizes his strengths and weaknesses and works hard at all movements in order to improve and progress.

Often times Arthur comes to class (or stays after) to inquire about different gym topics and training methodologies. Some of which I have heard of, and others which are very foreign to me!! He researches topics in his free time to learn more. Why? Because he knows that this new knowledge will only help him improve!!!

For those that have ever worked with Arthur you know that you are going to be pushing it that day. Arthur always pushes himself and that seems to affect others around him, and they, in turn, push themselves. (Well, sometimes Arthur "yells" at them that its waaaaayyy to easy!). He also is very knowledgeable about technique and lends a helping hand to others. Even if its as simple as hand placement on the bar or breathing and bracing techniques. He always gives out positive feedback when his fellow Beasts deserve it.

For those that are not aware, this past fall Arthur had a health related emergency that landed himself outside the gym for a few months. As soon as the doctors cleared him, he got back to work. He started back slow and built himself back up!!! He is now in better shape than ever!!! Not only has his strength com back rapidly, but is cardiovascular system is better than ever!!!

For these reasons, and so many more, Arthur is February's Beast of the Month. Keep it up BEASTS!!!!!!!!!
